IT’S NICE TO MEET YOU.

Hi, my name is J. Kristian Barnes aka POP the photographer behind POPSOGRAPHY.   I am a man of God, a lifelong resident of Syracuse, NY, and a passionate photographer who loves nothing more than capturing life's special moments. Although I began my professional photography journey in 2021, I have quickly established myself  in the industry thanks to my unique and creative approach to my craft. 

My portfolio includes weddings, sporting events, parties,  and family portraits.

 Photography is more than just a job - it's a passion and a calling!   I bring a wealth of life experiences and perspectives to my work. Thusly, allowing me to capture the beauty and essence of each moment; in a unique and memorable way. Whether I'm working with a couple on their wedding day, a family for a portrait session, a sports team at their game, or a newborn for their first photo shoot; my goal is to create stunning and timeless images that my clients will cherish for a lifetime.

When I'm not behind the camera, I serve as an Independent College Counselor/Mentor to  underserved college bound male students here in Syracuse, NY .   You can also  find me spending time with my family, volunteering at my church, and just spending time with young people. It’s my belief that life is a gift; and I am grateful for the opportunity that my gift has afforded me thus far!
